Handwoven Stole | Blend of Merino Wool and Pure Sheep wool | Handmade in Himachal Pradesh, India

This woollen wrap from Kullu features a typical and conventional multicolored border design on a deep red color stole. It is woven from natural sheep wool and imported Merino wool in a proportion of 20% Merino wool and 80% natural sheep wool, making it softer and lighter in weight.

  • The stole's style and texture are versatile, suitable for various settings such as the office, outdoor activities, or as a cozy wrap at home.
  • Typically, Kullu shawls and stoles are craftedĀ  in bright colors from natural wool, either locally sourced or imported. They feature striking and contrasting geometric designs at both ends, enhancing their appeal.
  • It is fascinating to note that most houses in Kullu and Kinnaur have weaving handlooms, where these woollen dresses and wraps are crafted to meet both personal needs and commercial demands, in addition to those made in factory workshops.
