Perfect for religious book readers :)
Add a divine and spiritual touch to your reading experience with this powerful Hindu Trinity or Trimurti bookmark! The Hindu Trinity refers to the three forms of Supreme Divine - Brahma(the Creator), Vishnu(the Preserver or Sustainer) and Mahesh(the Destroyer). Each is shown with their vahana or mythical vehicle - Brahma with swan, Shiva or Mahesh with bull or Nandi, and Garuda, Vishnu's vahana, standing on the left, in reverence with folded hands. Lord Hanuman and a rishi or sage are also shown on the right, filled with devotion.
- This painting or chitra is printed on a Palm Leaf or Patra, hence the name Talapattachitra.
- The Indian states of West Bengal and Odisha have their own style of painting Pattachitras & differ in their use of motifs, and each style has been accorded Geographical Indicator Tag by the Govt. of India.
* The finer the artwork is, the more value it adds to the painting.
